Hello, everyone!
So, if you haven’t noticed, my website has changed. It’s become an official thing, soon to be laden with all of my writing, book opinions, and media opinions.
It will all be under the name Kanna Ree.
Now, this probably should have been done earlier in the year (*cough* back in May when I upgraded the website *cough*), but as always, I am late to the party and show up in the middle of everything. So, because of this, I have a few updates and things I want to tell you all about.
Update 1 – Kanna Ree
Kanna Ree is the overall brand name for Kanna Reads and my side blog, Kanna Scribbles. These two exist no longer, and are all under the name Kanna Ree. I hope you continue to join me as I become better at this, because life is all about growth and I am trying to grow and become consistent in life and what I want to do.
Update 2 – Uploads
Okay, so my uploads have been sporadic at best, nonexistent at worst. I’ll admit it–the last year and a half haven’t been the best for this blog. It’s been a struggle trying to come up with new and innovative content and I’ve been sad about my lack of growth on the platform–which is my fault for not taking this seriously enough.
That changes now, which leads on to Update 3 – Content.
Starting on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020, I will be uploading all of my new (and better edited) content from Kanna Scribbles onto this blog. This includes an article on Avatar: the Last Airbender ([ATLA] a favorite show of mine that I wrote about a while back and is now relevant because it’s on Netflix), a couple of blog posts, and a Write With Me that was in tandem with my YouTube channel.
All of these will be uploaded every week, with a completely new article landing at the end of August and beginning of September that goes in line with Avatar: the Legend of Korra (abbreviated as LOK) also being released on Netflix. After the article, new posts will be uploaded every two weeks on different topics that I find interesting and hope you will, too.
So, not only will Kanna Ree be about reading and bookish stuff, it will also be about general fandom, writing, and the occasional (well-researched) essay that talks about social issues. So I hope that you will join me on this long, tedious journey as I strive to become a consistent person that also likes to nerd out once in a while.
**Also, a disclaimer: as I continue to find my niche, my web design will be changing with me. It may be black and white one day, and then full of color the next.
